5-Min-MonsterHunt

The monsters, they are out there. You know it. And you need to do something about it. You are going to hunt them down.

5-min-MonsterHunt is a solo, micro ttrpg in which you play as a monster hunter. You take on the role of one of the monster hunter archetypes, track down a monster, and live to tell the about the hunt. All you need are a six-sided dice and a way to record your hunt.

Inspired by shows like “Supernatural” and the game “Monster of the Week.”

There are three files. The first one is the colorized PDF with a spooky font. The second file is the same game but is plain text (no background image, but has the spooky font). The third file is a plain text and plain font. You can chose the one that is right for you!

UPDATE: A cereal box version has been added for the Cereal Box Jam. The dimensions are:

• Height: 30cm / 12in
• Width: 18cm / 7in

You can print on legal paper and cut and paste onto your cereal box and play as you eat your cereal. You can also print on letter size, it'll just be smaller, cut, paste, and play. The original instructions say to have a journal, but you can also just play creating the narrative in your mind as you have your cereal; it's up to you! Enjoy!

Note: the Cereal Box Version is intentionally minimalistic so that printing it won't eat up your ink ;-)
