As an RPG character, you get to go on a lot of adventures, face terrible foes, and get in some precarious situations. Your life is exciting! But maybe there is someone back home worried about you, or there is someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.

For this game, you will use the prompts and dice rolls to write a letter as an RP character. You can either play as an already created RP character from one of your other games, or create one using the in game rolling mechanics.

What you will need:

  • a way to write (a journal, a sheet of paper, electronic processor)
  • 1d6
  • 20 minutes (more or less, depending on how descriptive your letter is

This is meant to be a solo journaling game, but you can play with a friend. You could be RP penpals by sending letters in response to each other’s adventures!

There are two files available. The first version is the full version with space to write your letter. The second version is a condensed version in case if double-sided printing is difficult for anyone. Just make sure to print using the command of “print pages 1 to 1.”

Olivia Hill Rule: Fascists, sexists, homophobes, transphobes, or other forms of bigots are not allowed to play or use this game in any way.

Very cool! My only advice, some graphics or making it appealing to look it helps SO much.
Aside from that, I see many opportunities on how to use this.

Hi! Thank you so much for taking a look at my work and leaving me feedback. I will take that into consideration and play around with graphics.

hi! I'm new to rpgs and I have a question. What do I put in the specialty box?

Hi! Welcome to ttrpgs and thanks for giving my game a try! The Speciality section is meant as a way to give more "flavor" or uniqueness to your charatcer. For example, if you are a Rogue, maybe you have a speciality in grappling hooks. Or, if you are a humanoid monster, you have a speciality or strength in flying. It's more as a way to help you imagine your charatcer. You also can leave it blank if nothing comes to mind. Let me know if you have any other questions and how the game play goes if you play the game.

thank you! I will keep that in mind!
